INGREDIENTS

  • 5 King No Crab sticks
  • 1 mango
  • 1 Avocado
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 lemon, zest and juice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp tandoori spice mix
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • A handfull of coriander leaves
  • 8 edible flowers for decoration
  • To serve: 8 bamboo finger food boats

PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Cut the mango, avocado and chili pepper into small cubes and finely chop the coriander leaves.
  2. Add the mango, avocado, red pepper, coriander, maple syrup, the lemon juice and half of the lemon zest into a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Heat the tandoori spice mix with the vegetable oil. When heated, use the oil, and mix with the barbecue sauce and mayonnaise. Add more mayonnaise to taste.
  4. Cut the King Crab sticks into 4 smaller pieces. Marinate the King No Crab with olive oil and the other half of the lemon zest for 5 minutes.
  5. Place the King No Crab into the bamboo finger food boats.
  6. Add the mango salsa and sauce.
  7. Decorate with an edible flower.
