INGREDIENTS

  • 20 Plain Shrimpz
  • 60 g potato starch
  • 60 g of flower
  • Pinch of salt
  • 120 ml water
  • 150 g panko bread crumbs
  • tbsp red bell pepper powder
  • ½ tbsp garlic powder
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp ketchup
  • ½ tsp red bell pepper powder

PREPARATION

  1. Mix the potato starch, flower, salt and water into a smooth paste.
  2. Also mix the bread crumbs, red bell pepper powder and garlic powder.
  3. Make sure the Shrimpz are defrosted.
  4. Dip them into the smooth paste and afterwards into the panko mixture.
  5. Heat the olive oil into a wok pan and bake the Shrimpz until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Mix the mayonnaise, ketchup and red bell pepper powder into a fine sauce.
  7. Put the tempura shrimpz onto a plate, add the sauce and top off with lemon and parsley.
